FREE breakfast and lunch meal bundle distribution
Our elementary distribution sites, Lakeview, Meadow Lake, Neill, and Northport, will serve their last meal bundle distribution on Wednesday, Jan. 13. Cooper High School, Plymouth Middle School, Robbinsdale Middle School, and Sandburg Middle School (beginning Jan. 26th) will continue to distribute meal bundles for children 18 and under. Children do not need to be present. You may pick up one bundle per child per week at any site. If you have an elementary student who will eat breakfast and lunch with us at school, they are unable to pick up meal bundles to take home.
Simply park your vehicle, put on a face covering and walk up to the door with signage, let staff know how many in your household 18 and under, and we’ll set you up with meal bundles. For information on how to heat and prepare items in your meal bundle, head to bit.ly/RdaleHeatingInfo.
Nutrition Services is able to serve anyone, 18 and under, with our free seven-day meal bundles during Distance Learning PLUS per the USDA announcement that meals are free through June 31, 2020. Menus are available at rdale.nutrislice.com.
Despite meals being free through June 30, 2021, it is still very important all families fill out an application for educational benefits. Qualifying for educational benefits means a student(s) will have access to free breakfast and lunch, reduced fees for activities and provides critical funding for the district and schools.
