Our RSI 5th grade students represented our school with tremendous pride, determination, and sportsmanship at the District Track & Field Competition this past Thursday. Competing against students from elementary schools across the district, our Iguanas delivered an outstanding performance, earning 1st place finishes in 7 of the 18 events in our division!
We are incredibly proud of all of our student-athletes for their hard work, perseverance, and team spirit. Congratulations to the following students for their exceptional performances:
1st Place Finishes
- Emily – Girls 50 Meter Dash
- Elijah B. – Boys 200 Meter Dash
- Girls 4x100 Relay Team: Isla, Mia D., Antonia, and Layla W.
- Aubrey – Girls Softball Throw
- Kevin – Boys Softball Throw
- Marshall – Boys Running Long Jump
- Alena – Girls Soccer Punt
2nd Place Finishes
- Levi – Boys 50 Meter Dash
- Kenzie – Girls 800 Meter Run

We are still awaiting the final results for Evelyn F. and Harrison in the hurdles event and look forward to celebrating their accomplishments as well.
