Gov. Walz has proclaimed January 23-27th as Paraprofessional Recognition Week. Minnesota is home to more than 20,000 paraprofessionals who provide services in multiple settings within schools, including support for instruction, student activities, and individual students, as well as numerous other tasks that contribute to educational success. RSI paraprofessionals (EAs) make contributions to student learning daily. They provide support during lunch/recess and What I Need (WIN) literacy blocks. We simply could not run school without them.
