Rdale earns financial reporting award for 25th consecutive year

Robbinsdale Area Schools (Rdale) has earned the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO), marking the district’s 25th consecutive year receiving the honor.

The award recognizes Rdale’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.

So, what does the award mean? 

Each year, school districts produce a detailed report showing their financial position and how public dollars are accounted for. ASBO’s Certificate of Excellence recognizes districts whose reports meet high standards for accuracy, clarity and transparency. Reports are reviewed by an independent team of school finance professionals against nationally recognized guidelines.

“Earning this recognition for 25 consecutive years is a tremendous accomplishment and a reflection of the care and professionalism our finance team brings to this work,” said Superintendent Dr. Teri Staloch. “Clear, accurate financial reporting is an important part of being accountable to our community.”

ASBO’s Certificate of Excellence program has recognized excellence in school district financial reporting for more than 50 years. The organization represents school business professionals across the United States and around the world.
