Rdale is set to bring the excitement of GaGa Ball to every school in the district, thanks to a $210,000 grant awarded by Hennepin County.

Robbinsdale Area Schools invites all members of the district’s school community to share their insights through the Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 Community Survey, which is now open.

Enjoy consecutive three-day weekends.

The MSS is an anonymous, statewide, school-based survey that helps the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) and other state agencies gain insights into the world of students and their experiences. It’s also one of the longest running youth surveys in the nation. 

Our fifth graders will be taking the survey, which takes approximately 30-50 minutes to complete, the week of February 17th.

On Thursday, December 12th, RSI and Dr. Staloch had the opportunity to welcome and meet with Representative Juana Barrado Esteban, from the Education Ministry of Spain and Mai Yang, from MDE who coordinates the MN Visiting Teacher Exchange Program.  Representative Barrado Esteban was in Minnesota to tour RSI and visit the classrooms of three MN Visiting Teacher Exchange Program from Spain

The Art Is Primary show will run from Dec. 12-29 at the Robbin Gallery in Robbinsdale, which is open to the public Fridays and Saturdays from 1-5 p.m. and Sundays from 1-4 p.m.

Rdale provides free breakfast and lunch to students daily through Minnesota’s Free School Meals Program. To access additional cost-saving opportunities, we encourage all families to apply for Educational Benefits.

For the 2025-2026 fiscal year, Rdale faces an anticipated budget shortfall of $19-21 million. In coming weeks and months, Rdale will engage the community through transparent conversations.
