Updated school year calendar

Last year the School Board voted to change the 2022-23 school year calendar. To accommodate two holidays – Yom Kippur on Oct. 5, 2022, and Eid celebrated on April 21 and 22, 2023.

Picture Day at RSI September 30th

This year RSI's school picture day will take place on September 30th. Photos will be taken during the school day. Each student will have 3-4 photos taken, which parents can browse when ordering.

Cell Phones

Cell Phones are discouraged from being at school. If students must come with a phone-they must be kept in child's backpack or checked in to their classroom teacher.

I am happy to report that we currently have drivers to staff all transportation routes and busing to school activities. In addition, we believe we have hired enough staff to be able to cover our routes if our drivers call out sick or need to take extended leaves.

Starting this fall, school meals will no longer be free to all students. Students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals through the Educational Benefits application will have access to meals at no cost or a reduced cost.

Students who attend public schools in Minnesota are required by state law to have specific immunizations (or written proof of exemption) before they can attend school

Every year we ask all families to complete an Educational Benefits application. This is a big request, and we ask you to take a few moments to apply right now.

Families whose students ride the bus to school should have received a postcard with transportation information in the mail. If you didn’t get a postcard, bus information can also be found in the Parent Portal.

How do I Pay for My Child's Lunch?

The TITAN Family portal is a secure, online system that allows parents to make online payment to their children's cafeteria meal accounts.
