Robbinsdale Area Schools is making an important change to how families receive student transportation information.
Beginning Monday, July 7, 2025, School Board Listening Time will be held before the first business meeting of each month.

Robbinsdale Area Schools (Rdale) is entering the fourth year of its opt-in transportation system. All families with students enrolled in Rdale schools must fill out the bus transportation survey for the 2025-26 school year. The survey must be completed for each student by Friday, May 30.
RSI each year partners with Amity Institute to provide a cultural exchange program for our RSI community. Amity Interns are young adults who work side by side with our classroom teachers to gain teaching skills, share teaching techniques from their countries, and represent their culture.
At its May 20 meeting, the Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 Team studied the condition and capacity of Rdale’s school buildings—ranking facilities based on data and discussing how to align future investments with instructional priorities and long-term sustainability.
Robbinsdale Area Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Meals will be provided to children ages 1 year through 18 years without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

This morning, several of our buildings experienced isolated power outages. Power has been restored, and the school day is continuing as normal.
UPDATE at 8:35 a.m.: Power has been restored to Forest Elementary and FAIR School Crystal.
Three of our buildings are currently experiencing power outages—Forest Elementary, FAIR School Crystal, and Crystal Learning Center, which houses the Robbinsdale Transition Center. Most of our schools have backup generators, which are running and providing basic power.
At 2:35 p.m., per our safety and severe weather protocols, we delayed dismissing students due to a brief tornado warning, which has now passed.
