Fundraising at RSIS
The first part of September, our students bring home catalogs for specialty food, candy, gift?wrap and giftware. This is one of our largest fundraisers. Volunteers are needed for delivery of sales kits to the students, collecting the orders and money, and delivering products to the students. Three separate days with only a few hours each time.
Chairpersons: 5-10 hours/week in Aug/Sept/Oct
Volunteers: 2-3 hours at a time
Fiesta Fun Fair:
Our annual School Carnival! An event like this needs an all?school effort. Students bring in pop and candy for prizes. There are three ways for parents to get involved: help close to or on the day of the event, head up one of the sub?committees, or be the chairperson of this fun?filled event.
Volunteer: 2-3 hours the week/night of the event
Sub-Committee Leader: 3 hours/week Jan - May
Chairperson: Year-round planning. 20+ hours/week near event. Can be shared.
Hot and Spicy Salsa Night – Silent Auction:

Chairpersons: 10 hours/month, more as event nears
Volunteers: 3?5 hours/month, Dec?Feb
Scholastic Book Fairs:
Organize and sell books through Scholastic Book Fairs at the Fall and Spring Teacher Conferences. Volunteers are needed to set up the book displays, act as cashiers and pack up the book displays when the sale is over. Both daytime and evening hours are available.

We've discovered a terrific way to raise funds for our school. It's super-easy, and all you have to do is use your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. We will receive a percentage of the amount of each purchase in the form of a cash donation from Target through the Take Charge of Education® program. It's easy. Just visit target.com/tcoe, or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school. So if you're going to Target anyway, please consider using your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. Big thanks to those who are already doing their part to make a great school even better.
Find out how much money our school has already received at target.com/tcoe. Grandparents, alumni, neighbors and friends can take part, too.
You shop, RSIS benefits! It's that simple. And your REDcard makes it possible
Target will track purchases made by participating REDcard holders, then send a no-strings-attached donation check directly to the school principal. Checks are distributed once a year.
